1. i think all players should stop playing classic hardcore

2. i think all players should also stop playing classic Ladder

3. with all of the hardcore players and all of the ladder players merging together with non-ladder the player base will multiply and we will actually have players to play with

its that simple theres nothing else for me to go on about but i will say one more thing because im serious; if i was to add anything else i would say that

for people who are really worried about it an unofficial "ladder" could be made via third party or like discord for example right what this ladder could do is simply track everyone
for example lets say you really like hardcore you really like people knowing you have never died before well you could sign up as a hardcore player for example so yes you would be
playing on non-ladder softcore but signed up as a hardcore player in the ladder so if you died you would be shown dead/greyedout on the ladder and you could remake then if you wanted

the same things to be said with everyone we could have every non-ladder character simply register to a non-ladder *ladder* and register any characters they want so it would actively show
everyone

i personally think the "ladder" should never reset because there are such few level 99's on classic you could run a classic ladder for many years and the ladder would still be ok with people leveling i think

just think about it D2R has been out for how many years now? 5 years? and there is still not 1 level 99? classic can go 5-10-15 years without a ladder reset, in fact id argue theres no point in even resetting a
classic ladder the classic " ladder " should never reset and list every character

so yeah... i think everyone needs to stop playing ladder and hardcore and i think that we need to make a non-ladder ladder chart with a third party site or discord

going to add a screen shot here to a site i found so i am thinking something like this screen shot while i pulled these players names from their respective season so their experience has not been updated since their respective season ended but basically id like to combine all of them and also have their experience be updated as if it was the current season(which the site does for current seasons) and in addition to that i think id also like to even show maybe hardcore players in the same list as classic players but maybe show their name in a different color like red so everyone knows they are hardcore and some how track their death

but yeah here is a screen shot that is an example but not up to date and its out of order clearly id also like it to be in order as well and updated etc, and this list i have only shows players who actually played in a season and it doesnt show any players who were just strictly starting on non ladder so players could be missing i think even originally started non-ladder characters should be registered and tracked!

Why would you get rid of ladder, and then make an unofficial ladder with third party...
That makes zero sense...
Just play ladder lol, or dont is fine, but dont complain that other people are playing ladder lol

What they should really do, is have hardcore characters that die, turn into softcore characters... way more people would play hardcore

well the reason i want to get rid of ladder is for like a few reasons

1. there is even no one to play with on ladder 0 games up in hell first off maybe 1 or 2 here and there

because of this i just think combining is really the only way to get a few games constantally up

2. classic ladder length... so honestly i think ladder is for expansion players and bots ladder doesnt
really fit to the classic player by the time the ladder resets in 4 months 99% of people cannot even get
to level 96 on classic so by the time they actually get started, it resets

to me i think its pretty dumb to have those group of players make and level a few characters 1-95
(most people never get level 95) and then have them remake

what they should be doing is trying to contiue working on their characters in 1 realm restarting every
4 months is not a classic thing, as you can see D2R has been going for 5+years and there still has never
been a level 99, honestly we would have had a 99 along time ago if there was a leader board for classic
that made sense and didnt reset months before players were able to get 99 but since people cant see it its
like their isnt even a race or a goal

hardcore players dying and turning to softcore thats low key kinda an amazing idea

It is an amazing idea, yep.

But for classic it’s best to forget the ladder, when I play classic I just play HCSSF
