I always think it is no fun doing any builds in which damage comes from skills rather than equipment. All you need is levels, and equipment merely improves the efficiency of builds. You also end up in the same rhythm like farming NM bosses or doing countess/LK till you get better gear before progressing, and by then you're too geared that it doesn't matter.
My sp runs has always been single pass P8 untwinked melee builds. You need to plan progression and work with what you got. So far I have completed frenzy barb, Fury Druid and Strafezon. Will be doing avenger next.
I do enjoy single pass/full clear. Did a berserk barb once but that’s it. Not my absolute favourite though because I do like collecting juicy gear too. Something like all magical, rare, and/or crafted might be fun though, never done something like that!
