So if we wanna post a SERVICE but by mistake post a FT topic or ISO

Staff could safe time if we were allow'd to change topic between FT ISO SERVICE by ourself + this will probably continue forever from time to time

I don't see any reason to implement this change. Mostly because when someone makes a mistake with their topic they can simply pm the appropriate staff group and request a quick adjustment. If it happens repeatedly then I'd suggest slowing down when creating a trade topic to avoid selecting the wrong description.

Another thought comes to mind, if everyone had the ability to change their own topics between ft and iso it would likely create even more confusion than it would prevent.

Is it really happening that often to be a issue? I think i can almost count on one hand the amount of times i made the mistake of creating a iso topic instead of a FT topic over my 21 years here on jsp.
Either i PM'd some in staff or i just did wait the 4h before making a new topic because its no big thing.
If it happens to often just slow down when making your topic and look over what you written and if you did choose the right topic, ISO or FT. Only takes a few seconds extra of your time.

This has been suggested numerous times in the past and isn't something that will get implemented/changed.

If you posted in the wrong forum or used the wrong topic type (e.g. FT instead of Service etc.) either use the report button for wrong forum or kindly PM a Junior- or Trade Moderator (depending on the area/sub forum) to have it fixed.
