Is it possible to get a sub thread or a place we can discuss VR gaming?
I feel like this is an area that is missed on this site that could help bring people together, build friendships and allow for mutual gaming together.
There could also be a market for it too
Atleast for Meta users


You are able to gift games/balance similar to how the steam store works and would work in the same respect as the steam sub thread.
But there are also games on there where you could utilise a trade feature for items too so could have a trading market also
Lastly, Although its classed as a referral link, i wouldnt personally say it is, nbut when you buy a game, you recieve a link so that you can share it with others so that they can get 15% off their purchase of that game.
Being able to post "has anyone got a link for a beat saber discount" and have people post the link will help people save money on new games they wish to play if buying themselves

So essentially im just curious,

Is there a space on the forum for VR Gaming/Grouping/Trading/Discount links?

OR

Am i just pushing for something that maybe unwanted or unnecessary

At this time I don't believe there is enough demand for VR to have it's own forum. If that changed then I would probably vote yes but right now I feel like it would be mostly inactive forum.

Again not a bad idea in my opinion, i just dont see enough trades or topics for it currently.

what about finding somwhere for it to fit for now as a smaller sub thread ? dont necessarily mean for it to have a whole section, but like a subsection somewhere

Perhaps but I'm still Null vote at this time mainly because I just don't see a VR subform being a very active right now.

If the community has enough interest and we start seeing be mutiple topics related to VR or Meta Quest being posted daily then I'd consider voting yes for a subforum.

Cam pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one.

If there was more demand or several topics being made for VR gaming I would vote yes, but for now I don't think there would be nearly enough traffic.
If it every picks up in the future I will vote yes. Nulling for now.

But I would NOT recommend posting any trades until it becomes approved. Meta, specifically, is not on the banned platform list in the sticky, but it's not approved either.
