In January 2019, I did a Classic Sword Barb walkthrough named Dario, which can be found HERE

While he did kill hell Diablo and beat the game, unfortunately Dario died before being able to complete his greater goal: claiming the EINLANZER!!!

Now, almost 7 years later, it's time for Dario's younger brother Glenn to take up the charge and finish what Dario couldn't. It's time to get the Einlanzer back into noble hands!!!

In Chrono Cross, the Einlanzer is a sacred blade only able to be wielded by a select few. Dario and Glenn are brother knights who are both worthy of harnessing the sword's power.

In terms of Classic D2, the Einlanzer will be an Executioner sword with 180%+ enhanced damage and some other dignifying aspect such as a nice colour shade, triple durability, or base leech. Those are guidelines, I'm not exactly sure what the Einlanzer will look like, but I'll know it when I see it!

This will be a P8 HC Legacy Classic Walkthrough with a sword barb who has the task of finding the Einlanzer and socketing it with the soj socketing cube recipe. Of course, I'd eventually like to fully gear Glenn with godly rares, we'll see.

Lastly, I'm going to enjoy this character all the way through. Sometimes I like to rush to a certain area, other times I like to stop and grind for levels and gear. I would say that I typically like to grind a lot and be over-prepared whenever possible. I do like to explore lesser-visited areas as well.

I really hope this will allow me to sustain Concentrate as a full-time attack throughout Normal Pretty good luck tbh, but Dario's Rixot's Keen from Normal Mausoleum was even luckier!

Dueling with The Smith

First set item, but I'm already beyond using 8 slot belts. I chug potions so often I need as many slots as possible!

Andariel was pretty easy


Drops were bad


I rushed straight to cube because I wanted to clear up inventory and stash space by cubing my gems.

Got this great ring on the way to cube


After using all my free gems, this was the best sword I could craft :/ Not very good. I gambled another Giant Sword and will continue to cube them as I find more chipped gems throughout a2. Hoping for a 2os one with some enhanced or max dmg so I can mana leech better.


This will have to do for now. Essentially a 3os Giant Sword. Better than what I can shop from vendors in a2 at least, so I'm a little ahead of the game.

Radament


This is where I'm at currently. Level 20 and about to enter the Far Oasis. I'm probably going to add 5 more to Vitality and hit 75 there. Then, I need to focus on bringing strength/dex to 100/60 so that I'll be able to use Great Swords as soon as possible. If I don't put anymore to Vitality after level 21, I'll be able to use a Great Sword by level 33. Sounds about right, but having lower Vitality will make norm more difficult than it needs to be. It's one of the issues with sword barbs I guess. Onward to Far Oasis!
