Looking to spend 600-650 usd
I prefer asus
Mostly school and photos
Help a brother out

This is what I am thinking but the processor seems small

ASUS Vivobook 17.3" FHD Laptop, 6-Core Intel Core i3, 24GB RAM 1.5TB Storage (1TB SSD+512GB Docking Station Set), Windows 11 Pro with Microsoft Office Home & Business Included, PLUSERA Earphones, Blue

And it is ddr4 ram

Intel CPUs made after the year 2008 are backdoored by the Intel Management Engine (Intel ME)
Which is like a whole Operating System booting before yours
By booting before Windows, it has a even higher privilege level than your Windows
So if attacked, nothing from Windows can protect the computer as it does things that even Windows doesnt have access to

It is a known CIA backdoor as the only entities having access to Intel CPU that dont include the backdoor are those american 3 letter agencies

Worth noting that AMD has something similar known as "AMD PSP (Platform Security Processor)
The difference is that the one from AMD is well documented by AMD themselves and does not have remote capabilities
Intel ME does have remote capabilities

You can have an SSD hard drive to start Windows and another one for storage, so it will surely start faster than the CIA's super tool ^^
