Hi there, so I've pretty much lost all motivation to finish my sp sc grail where I'm only missing cranium basher. Having looted it multiple times on bnet and having pretty much everything on sp on softcore, I wanted to start a new d2 adventure.


I previously did a bowazon WT and really enjoyed that. But, sorc is what I always end up enjoying the most, having hit 99 on sp sc and on bnet on both scl and hcl - Guess there's only one thing missing, huh!



Goals

- Loot cranium basher to wrap up my sp grail (I know I know, it would be across hc and sc - idc)
- Make CTA
- Stay alive and hopefully hit 99!
- Maybe some time attempt ubers, still not sure on this one



Rules

- Progression will always be on P8 - reruns can be P3-P8 (except countess reruns, P1)
- I'm using all four stash tabs and will create mules, but will not use any gear from previous chars
- I will enable unlimited respecs after hell baal and having farmed at least one token



Not looking to be a super strict or uber challenging run, I just want to have something to motivate the grind.

My plan is to start static / nova and then respec into blizz, later adding hydra. Haven't tried dual speccing with hydras before, but I really want to try that instead of meteor / firewall or completely relying on merc. Any tips greatly appreciated!

I should note that I use an item filter to shorten some things (like gems and pots) and also highlight all runes of Lem+ (I think) with a beam, if you're wondering why some things look odd.

Same with meph - frost nova and static are such a great combo. Almost feels like cheating compared to my bowazon walk, although this is certainly more risky.

Started act 4 but all the finger mages took a lot of hits. As I'm already lvl 28, decided to just respec to blizz now. Stats before respec




And straight away I get this lol. Gull will have to take a backseat on swap now




First sol! Will probably make lore as I think it'll be awhile until I get an insight base

+2 skills, tyvm. Blizz is nuts, I keep checking that it's actually p8 and it just tears through things. Overlevelling really beneficial right now hehe.




HFQ! I mean zero complaints here, the perf amethyst can hopefully give me a spirit base or insight base, fingers crossed. Btw with my filter, Gem 5 = perfect, gem 1 = chipped.
