This happens when becoming a teacher is no longer a viable career path to live a middle class life

My cousin born and raised Chicago wanted to be a high school math teacher. Heart of gold, he loves Chicago and wanted to give back
To the city. Did it for a couple years then when on to phd and college prof route because the pay is non existent

The entire NA teaching regime needs an entire reformation. Teachers are some of society's most important members. There is no incentive for an intelligent person who wishes to be a teacher to be a teacher because of the absolutely abysmal pay. The abysmal pay has led to teaching becoming pink-collar or sub-pink-collar work- the only people who will be a teacher now are deranged Munchausen-by-proxy hysterical women who are motivated not by pay or vocation, but by the ability to abuse & indoctrinate children that they never had.

idk about abuse and indoctrinate but theres definitly plenty of teachers who love my kids because they dont have there own and honestly i dont mind haviing people who care about my children
i blame parents "they didnt teach us this blah blah you dont do your job right"
parents are the most unthankful people in fucking existents for the people who are helping raise their children and i dont blame the teachers for being fed up with them

Top brass moving the country to private schools and religious schools
Easier to control people going forward if they're stupid or believe angels are real.

Why would any rational person send their kid to a public school?

Religious schools will become the new public schools
Private schools will be out of reach as the wealth gap keeps getting bigger
This has already been in the process for several years now
Its just getting more attention now that far right sycophants are actively pushing bible "stuff" in schools in poor states like OK/MS/LA

You're more optimistic than I! If public schools are Christianized that'll basically fix the education problem alone, people won't be forced to pay for private secular or Christian school

I actually dont care about the american public education system
thats why I vote against every fund increase via tax or some other crap like that
But thats probably why im part of the problem

Imagine thinking schools hire based on anything other than likelyhood to still be in the job in 6 months.
