Im not sure specifically what pyramids you are talking about but the question you posed is silly. The builders did not travel across ocean at all, rather separate civilizations all built pyramid type monuments independently of each other. This is most easy to confirm by the inherent differences that pyramid cultures around the world have in their monuments. Today people see pyramids and connect them, when in fact the have very little to do with each other architecturally.
People also see the fact that these monuments having pyramid shapes as linking them, when if fact the shape of a pyramid is the only logical shape a monument could take in order to attain such heights at that time in history. Obelisks could reach great heights but were not inhabitable. A massive cube would require 2-3 times the materials and a much more elaborate building scheme to achieve such heights.
A question cannot be silly. Specially if the answer is unknown. How rude.
I didn't point to; they might have traveled over oceans, the question I asked, raises many other questions.
I do believe that different civilizations built their own "pyramidlike" structures. But I also believe the building methods, architectural design and so forth all resemble each other in many different ways. I do not think all those different civilizations came up with the idea to build such things, without a link.
What you're saying is, the only reason they did so, was so they reach great heights? And they all came to that same reason out of pure luck?
In any case, it's a interesting topic and all opinions are valid

It's a shame how ppl learn about facts, then person A: defines the facts reasoning as X , and person B: defines the reasoning by Y. (example: Earth revolves around the Sun, fact. Why, due to gravity and so forth. The other answer someone might say, God) The example is quite out there, but just trying to show how ppl differ.
Everyone tries to come to their own conclusion, because everyone wants to be "special" and different. Not to mention the different beliefs that they already have, etc.
