if you go like blizzard+nova/static and you run into a cold/lightning monster which is pretty much the main reason your making
a dual/triple elemental character to begin with your not going to be able to kill it or atleaste not effectively
i think you want to go super high cold/fire damage with small lightning damage you can kill a cold/fire imune with static
and a level 1 telkinsis, but this is abit anoying and with big mobs not so easy but atleaste its still possible
if you go cold/lightning and run into CR/LR monster low fire isnt going to kill him esp not low fire in a 8 player game
or really even in solo games if they have some anoying abilitys or there are more then 1 elite

if i was going to consider going more cold damage id take the skills out of fireball
you could make your blizzard stronger by instead just simply going blizzard/firewall and taking the extra firepoints
and putting them into g spike
a level 1 g-spike should be used more then a level 20 iceblast
a level 1 gspike has god-crowd control even at level 1 because of blizzard synergys it still leaves everything
unable to move and completely frozen for 4-5 seconds its the god survivability skill of a sorceress jump into a crowd
of fana might hell cows with level 20 iceblast and ur going to die, do it with a level 1 g-spike all those cows are
going to be unable to move and ur just going to remain full life
ive never really used hydras before esp not since D2R ive always used firewall but looking into it i think that
hydras might be the superior option plus they autoattack by themselfs and u can cast other skills while their casting
its quite harder to cast firewall and other skills in between its very clunky and a cooldown on each firewall really
limiting damage and enemys walking out from under the firewall is anoying when i dont invision this issue with hydras
also that same group of hydras will merc a group of cold immunity monsters that are bunched... while firewall not only may make them run
but you cant really be targetting many of them accurately with firewall
fireball synergy to hydra is also a godlike sleeper for just more dps i think in a full 8 player game this build
would work pretty quickly to kill mostly all targets, while other elemental builds really struggle in even single player games
this sort of build would murder solo content
but being able to also cast fireballs ontop of hydras would be pretty nice i think and even tho fireball damage
is only shy of 800 i still think it will help kill fire stuff quickly and focus fire targets hydras are spamming
this build has more skills then a normal sorceress would, even a tri elemental cause a level 1 gspike is still
going to be your most used skill cause its going to freeze and crowd control everything so id be looking at like
f1blizzard f2teliport f3gspike f4hydra // f5telikinsis f6nova f7lightning f8townportals
left click fireball (so there are to many skills to even use all our stuff id get rid of lightning prolly and go nova)
and put static on a hotkey
blizzard, gspike(5secondsfrozen) hydra hydra hydra hydra hydra hydra gspike fireball
gear is pretty simple you want the highest resistance tri resistance gear everywhere the hardest item to find
that you need is a 30/20 50lr 50fr bone shield, if ur unable to find this ur going to need to sacrifice block
and play smart in chaos against melee characters and honestly just go for a ward or 3 socket shield i think
as for your other gear you pretty much just want max life + CR LR FR tri resistance
i think that defense and faster hit recovery are really bad id be trying to ignore these specific stats
at all cost and make sure i dont get any sort of grim or mageplate type items
i would be looking for the lowest strength required stuff in the game, like bone shields and breast plates
the reason defense is so bad is because its a prefix and you can only have 3 prefix on an item, which means
getting defense on an item means that you have low resistance, resistance is pretty much the best stat in the game
and the only form of damage-reduction that will reduce your incoming damage taken and theres really no maxing it out
because even when you have 75 in hell conviction and lower resistance are EVERYWHERE you pretty much have
lower resistance on you 24/7 the biggest mistake i see players make is they get 125 resistance and see 75 on the
character screen and think that thats ok but imo even 200 is not ok because aura get put on you with 200 you can
still get chunked so the more the better
you could even consider lowering your faster cast rate to 40 and using a tri resistance wand
since you use magefist which ever weapon u decide would give you 40 or 70
40 faster cast rate is extremely solid for a sorceress i think so yeah
this build is set up so if you encounter a group of enemys that are mixed resistance they are still going to
die realtively quickly and safely
if you are running cold+lightning skills instead of cold+fire
and you run into a group of monsters and 1 is CR/LR
you are in big trouble and your run is going to be very delayed where as there is really nothing
you can run into with the cr/fr version thats going to slow you
also you have to put a decent amount of points in the lightning skills to really do any decent damage
as you would any skill but do you really need that damage if your just staticing them anyways?
if you do go lightning and have no-to-weak-fire and their is a group of cold immunitys its quite hard
to even engage them safely esp if you have a close range attack like lets say nova its just more dangerous
as to where what you could be doing is ranging with hydras and or fireball or really even doing what you
would be doing normally in some close range senarios anyways which would be staticing even with a level 1 static
in this build you have like 6 static which is soso range but u could still be hydraing from behind and still
have the static option
you know what im done typing here even tho ive barely scratched the surfice
oh yeah one last thing i do think the 1000-1400 low old mastery blizzard damage should be enough
i have raided 1/8 power leveled many level 40 sorceress before in full games with 900-1400 dmg blizzard
really the reason this is so powerful is because once again a level 1 g-spike is able to hold the fector
chaos pack of venoms frozen under blizzard
