Hey, my question is about the weapon. I know beast would be the best weapon but I don't want to spend thousand fg for it, I've seen I can use a Hoto instead but I'm asking myself about using hustle in a weapon ( Wich give lvl 1 fanatism).

Any idea of Wich one is the best for now?

Also what is your opinion about maxing skeleton mages?

low random beast doesnt cost much...

skeleton mages suck.. u got enough other skills to put your points into..

You can use any weapon u want ofc.. i didnt do the math but i kinda doubt that lvl 1 fana outperforms +3 skills and whatever u get more by not needing FCR on another item..

still: beast >>>>> hoto > hustle imo

Skeletons are mostly meat shields for your merc. Unless you're doing something like uber tristram where you would revive urdards and run beast there isn't much of a reason to do so. Just run hoto, put an infinity on merc as corpse explosion does half fire damage half phys. You can just tp around with just your merc and cast amp damage and start spamming corpse explosion and clear most of the game. On bosses use decrepify so they don't cast spells and your merc can 1v1 them.

If you're staying in game longer then sure get warrior/mages (they still catch bullets for you) and revives. Last time I played summoner was before d2r so I don't really know if you need them for TZ but when I played my nec to 97 in D2LOD (1.12 or 1.13 i think) I was 99% time just running infinity merc, me with tele amp and CE, insight iron golem - for p1 farming that was enough.

if you have at least 1 hard point in it then it doesn't.

What do you mean by 1 hard point?

You have spent a skill point into getting that skill and it's not granted by an item like a wand with +1 to iron golem.
