I may be missing something, but how do you get max res all in hell with this build? I have found that doing Chaos Sanc with this setup in hell gets me pretty screwed cause of all the magic damage, but hey, its only my second day ever playing a hammerdin so I'll eventually get use to it I guess...but how do you get all that extra res? Maras + HoZ (I P'Diamond'd mine cause I'm poor) doesn't get even close to the max pos res.

yea i need an answer to that too
and whats is dmg of hammers with this build and eq....saying i dont use the maras?

Enigma Archon: This is extremely important for this paladin. With this you will be moving as fast as a sorc, killing faster, and also surviving longer. The mf, str, and other mods are awesome as well. For lower lvls use a viper magi, and then scolders for mfing if you cannot yet afford enigma.
PTopaz Shako: Obvious answer. Until you are high enough for this, use peasant crown.
Cham Herald: The 4 combat skills + excellent blocking make this better then an mf shield. Remember that higher killing speed means more dead monsters, which means more items.
Really try and get a herald, but if you cannot get one, use a rare shield.
Arachnids Mesh: Best for this build because you are going to need fcr. The + skills is just gravy. Until this use an fcr belt, or gold wrap for the mf.
Magefists: Use this if you need the fcr. If not use chance gaurds for the mf.
War Travs: Heres where you should have some mf. War travs are the best for mf, so use them if u can. Otherwise you some rare or magic ones with mf.
Perfect Maras: Use whatever % you can get. IMO this is the best ammy for a hammerdin. You might need the res, and the skill are just great. Other options are rare pally ammys with + skills, or magic ammys with + combat/pally skills.
Nagelring: You can afford to lose one soj for the mf.
Soj: Big mana boost + skills. Obviously this a great ring for any caster. If you feel you don’t need it though, go for another mf ring.
Charms: small mf charms, annihlus, combat charms, vita charms. Use whatever you think you need more of, which will usually be mf.
Weapon Switch: Alibaba + Rhyme shield. This is used for killing bosses. If you don’t have ists, and arent at a very high lvl then use gull instead of ali-baba.
Exact quote of his guide, which bring us to the following calcs:
-100 base,
-70 with quests,
pdiamond in hoz = 70 res.
Wizardspike = 50,
mara's = 20
That makes +70, which is VERY near.
I've taken the lowest of each items, since you said you're not very rich. With a cheap anni, you'll get max res easily.
About the dmg without mara's, and without skillers, = 9k. With enigma, hoto, HoZ, Arach and 1 soj.

ANyway, my pally does 11k hammers, and kills quick enough for me. I have been doing a lot of lvling jobs lately, and its been great. Yesterday, I reached lvl 93 with my hammerdin

Heh, I just had to say how great of a guide that was. That guide was great, and covered everything you could possibly want to know. I know alot of other people said it too, but I just figured I had to say it as well heh. I think that guide single-handedly just made a ton of people want to make a Hammerdin [if they hadn't already done so]. Like I said, just wanted to tell you how good of a guide that was, and like *PlatinuM* said on the first page ~ very in-depth as well.

Before I made this guide, I was the only MF hammerdin that I knew of. Now, I think I hear of more people having MF hammerdins than MF Sorcs

lol yes it is. I guess you havent played much of 1.10. Before the patch, hammerdins were kinda dumb. Now, theyre god.
