Sometimes this is risky, and it is better to use decrepify from the start to avoid getting fhr locked to death

yes, but you'll barely ever hit with your axe attack anyway, and the damage is negligible. Its common for the holy frost to finish instead of your melee attack
(killing them with 1 hp using firewall or something would make you no longer 'melee', and sometimes the ATD isn't enough, and sometimes they have MDR that soaks up your holy frost)

lower resist will increase your DPS by a whole ton, and you only need to hit *once* with your poison dagger :3

If you wanted to BM with a merc, which one would you suggest? I was thinking of an A1 with Harmony for ridiculous frw, unless there is something else that would be even funnier/ better

Theres no imaginable merc that would survive more than half a second without teleport.

I'd use an act 3 merc with a 30/30 sword, +3 lightning ormus (facet), griffs (facet) and ethereal 20/20 monarch
hits something like 1-4000 damage with -95% resists. Or was it 1-3000
