Bitter badge is insane. I haven’t seen any other rares get close to that one. Normally the options you listed are the best ones to use since they are balanced or open up other armor options. Alma or a rare can be used with shaft. Ghoz doesn’t do that well in my experience so I just stick with hoz on bo side as did those who actually had a ghoz lol. Phoenix is banned so I never really used it much. Ss is the best non tap shield imo since it opens up the armor and helm slots more.

A rare belt is an interesting suggestion but I think verdungos is still the better option. The added fhr and stats can help but it would also require dr elsewhere to hit 50 dr. So a rare armor with bers would probably be the best choice but then you miss out on def or other stats.

One shield option that a lot of people over look is eth upd lance guard. You won't have a socket but it'll have 20% DS and 50 life if you want something more unique. I find this shield really to only be viable with a 2 soc self repair fools, and this should works nicely with metal grid ammy and ias gloves, or a fools that already hits ias bp and can wear rends.

I use to use eth upd lance guard just to have fun. Please keep in mind the shields you listed are the top performers, but technically anything could be used if you build for. Like eth head hunters

Ah I remember using that on my pallys while leveling but can’t say I’ve used it in duels. Could use that and not need verdungos and go rare belt build?

I don't know if this has been asked throughout this already enormous thread, but here I go. Does Max Fanaticism always do more overall zeal dmg than Max Concentration? Are there any advantages to having Max concentration instead?

Nope hasn’t been asked

Max fanat will always be better since it provides ias and ar as well as dmg. Conc is just a damage increase
