Lw is good for a one pt smite hdin.

If your smiter is solely for the purpose of UT then it makes sense to make it as good as you can. For that purpose use grief.

IN MY OPINION THIS IS THE ORDER

GRIEF > Crescent moon (i love that static) > Black > anything else

Lw is just not worth it.. i dont see 100%cb necesary, about 75% is enough...
get life tap from wand/dracs should be enough or go for exile+dracs...

WHY grief>LW?? because of crushing blow:

as you take clone's life down, there is less life to take % life off (how crushing blow works)
life goes down fast at first and then it slows down untill the alst bit that lasts forever.

Grief's awesome raw dmg add will help you kill faster on that last bit. plus, it has ias, ignore defense, etc..

Difference between grief and LW is small but LW gives 2-3 utilities which grief doesn't.
I'd just use LW on the sheer advantage of Fade and Life Tap and the fact you can go with any other equipment while still making it work.

Grief might kill in 7secs instead of 8 but at least you never die with LW.
And you can use enigma with LW since you don't need duress.

Basically UT smiter works with any gear.

e/ Basically it doesn't matter shit since it's PvM and everything works.

It's just personal preference - It's PvM the bit of damage won't do shit.

I just like to have a versatile setup since grief only works better if you stack CB on equip.

yes all you need is cb and res basically

i just remember beind dissapointed on using 5hrs on a sword i didnt like in the end (back when i wasnt using jsp) while grief could do a simillar/beter job for much much less.. it all comes down to personal prefference in the end ^^

I use grief + eni on my UT smiter, and it never dies.

used that combo too with lots of resist charms in inventory

on top of last wish
