Ill make it simple
If you deal 2 million damage but are constantly hitting for 1200+ before 55 then your wasting it all most monsters have under 1000 health until the mq gear range. Which is a HUGE waste of damage and slows down the run. You do to many lower numbers to other mobs to balance out your charm and get the "same average" when in the end you might end up with the same damage but your productivity is way less because your not doing the damage in a manner which helps the group overall by evenly hurting all the monsters as an ice charm would which would allow them to be 1 hit by the melee players whereas with a lightning some would still be at 80% or more life because of the LOW hits.
