I like the new crafting system better than the old one.
We don't know what the best recipes will be... but I'm guessing ones that drop in inferno difficulty will give items with the potential to be just as good as inferno drops.
I seriously doubt blizz would be stupid enough to cap crafted items at 6 modifiers when the best unique/rare items have 7...

what i love the most is we will be able to upgrade npc's (artisans) and their shop will get pimped up as they become better :) cant wait !

oh really ? well, this isnt so bad, i think this is good actually, since you wouldnt have to farm plans and such for every character

i hope it will be hard to collect everything to get all upgrades though :/

Ofc its good, but you'll only get to see your vendors being pimped out once each time :P

lol good to know, was worried I'd have to have a "crafting main" and funnel all the resources to him o.O

I'm not too worried about the apparent lack of good crafting in D3. They probably haven't released the full assortment of what's possible. I think back to the D2LOD players guide I bought way back when and it barely scratched the surface as far as describing possible item prefix/suffix combinations and whatnot. The info they have released on the game is probably not all encompassing, we will have plenty of opportunity to find wtfbbqh4x items and sell them for $3000 on the rmah.

lol "game guides" for online games are usually worthless and full of out-of-date info.
Heck, they're almost as bad for single player games if the game has been out a year or more and you've updated to the most recent patch.
Only really useful for console games which don't get patched :P

Yea sure I dont think that there is a reason to not like it more when it required hours of muling full characters to craft something in D2, they made that much better for sure.

I just dont like that instead of using new UI to let us enjoy real crafted items, they wasted it on replacing gambling & rare cubing from D2 and even comepletely removed crafted items from game. I just think that this is kinda waste of this advanced system and OFC removal of my favourite item type in D2 makes me sad.

But yea, I also hope they wont keep what they shown so far, 6 random modifiers for crafted rares and up to 7 random modifiers for rares from loot. Ill always dream about real crafted items even if they make it so rares from crafting have 8 modifiers thoug ^^
