Diablo 3 is a Diablo series game.

I own them all, and also Project Diablo 2, and I rotate through them all when I'm in a nostalgic mood for D2 dopamine hit on rune drops or want to play current Season 7 of D4.

Diablo 3 is a filler for me, just play for funsies, make a build that can blast through GRifts and Bounties and you'll be fine.

If you never played before, just play through the story once for lore purposes.

After that, every end-game in every diablo is the same... Grind for better items and optimize your build til your eyes bleed and you stop playing it.

Normally I'd be thinking about playing the start of the new season tonight. In roughly two hours.
But they delayed the start of Season 34 on Diablo 3 to next Friday night (January 31). One week.
They didn't want to overlap Diablo 3 with Diablo 4. Even though I don't play D4 at all right now.

I so want to play Season 34 of Diablo 3 starting tomorrow night at 7 p.m. central. But you're right. No Forum Gold to be had.
Even though the theme is my absolute favorite. Strafe with multi shot doesn't come around often. Demon Hunter is super fun!

If I felt like I had any freedom to do as I please I'd honestly play Season 34 of Diablo 3 tomorrow night. It's going to be amazing.

But I started over with 0.00 Forum Gold this morning. If I grind hard on Hardcore Ladder Slasher I can slowly build up again.
I just need to stop my gambling addiction. LOL. But anyway. One game can earn me a little Forum Gold. And D3 simply can't

If I could play Diablo 3 and make a little Forum Gold that would be amazing. But only people that make Forum Gold playing D3 are the power leveling pros.

I ended up starting Season 34 with a Necromancer. Solo Self-Found. Level 51 now.
Corpse Explosion makes it super easy with a nice Army. I'll play it until Haedrig's Gift.

I already got the Level 70 items to Level 1 from the Altar of Rites. Should speed things up a lot.
But I'm just going to play this season very casually. Nothing to rush. I'll finish the season journey.

Once I get Haedrig's Gift I'll start my Demon Hunter and open it with her. Strafe with multi shot is eventually what I'll use for this season's theme.

I wish Diablo 3 found a way to implement a Strafe build with multi shot normally. Super fun to use. But it's only available with this season's theme...

In that order are my favs. D3 was amazing in season 16-22 on PSN. I steered away from PC as I played 100% legit and there were fewer malicious players on consoles.
