Avengers was an action comedy with a very light hearted feel

The dark knight movies have always been a much more serious drama style action movie with a very ... well "dark" feel to it.

Yes, they're both action flicks, about comic book heroes, but they're completely different. Hard to say ones better then the other, both were very good. I think its more what your in the mood for, and what type you like better.

If i want a better plot, where i can get sucked into it more, with detailed characters, ill watch the Batmans from Chris Nolan.

If i want a light hearted action comedy, with more fight scenes then ill watch the Avengers.

You guys read about the massacre in the pre-screening of the movie? A couple dozen people died by gunfire. Even a baby was shot pointblank in the movie theatre.
