when you're young, of course is expensive. so get help from older guys who can help: parrents, grandparents, uncles, godfathers, whatever you can

in this wide world, there is a place for everyone. how about moving to a poor country ? you get all the clean nature, cheap prices not just in houses but in everything, including girls!

you could volunteer for a month to some place like South America or East Europe. Check out things.

It's because it feels like it's immune to the market. It hasn't had a market correction in over 21 years excluding the crash in 2008-09

Its the basis of our economy and somehow is immune to correction because literally everyone needs a place to live and banks are encouraged to loan money they don't even have so that everyone can afford their house and condo.

It's like college tuition and student loans.

I think it's just a matter of time before the housing market and college market experience a significant crash due to easy money by massive lending. Similar to what happened in 08, but it doesn't seem to happen often.

Tldr buy your house in the next housing market crash

i think the banks loaning money that they dont have would work if our fuckin houses were cheaper ffs, make them apartments so that the people pay their shit off faster and not get forclosed.

they're logging and clearing like 50 acres of trees near us
so that means our property is going to go up in value because they're cramming 750 homes in that area or whatever

nothing to do with rent but ayy resale value

where the fuck do you live? that's a decent deal!

my family was looking at moving back to our old town (we moved 5 min down the road about 18 months ago) and they wanted to get a different style house. they want something like 5 bedrooms (more like 6 because they want an office/study), 2.5-3 bathrooms, facing a certain direction, etc etc. we looked at a 5 bedroom house with 2 beautiful sun rooms and a huge organic garden. everything seemed pretty nice; fit all their criteria, but there was no central air on the top floor and the didn't want to tend to the organic garden.

would've been a fun house to live in!!! but it was ~550k

thx connecticut

a house like yours would not be very cheap here

Connecticut has mastered income segregation.
It's great cause I don't live near any poor people, but the price tag is a little hefty.

It's called a mortgage. You are not expected to pay that much. You are expected to be able to make payments towards a loan of that much.
