I just bought a new computer for d2r, and would like to know if it’s enough to run in 2k 144hz, here is the configuration:

- AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- GeForce RTX 3060 (12GB)
- 16 GB RAM
- 512GB SSD

Should be enough for 2k and 144hz?

It was alpha, so it's difficult to say for sure.

With that in mind, some stats for perspective:

5900X/RTX 3080
4K all maxed:
~95fps on 99% GPU utilization

2K all maxed:
~160fps on 99% GPU utilization

1080p all maxed:
200fps (wouldn't go past the max no matter what I did) on 80% GPU utilization

Note that going to legacy mode would unburden my GPU fully to legacy levels with resurrected graphics assets kept in RAM, which would result in legacy-level FPS but zone transition would still induce level loading.

if we assume the performance draw stays the same as in alpha then no, you likely wont consistently hit 2560x1440 at 144Hz max settings.

I think its more than likely though that they optimize the game till release to be less demanding.

I have better cpu/ssd/ram, and the same gfx card as him.
Not hitting 144hz on 1080P (settings maxed). Dueling with a couple people in game has also dropped the fps lower.
There's no way he can hit 2k 144hz with that card unfortunately.

It’s time to invest in a 10k$ computer to enjoy d2r to the maximum
