I don't get it.

There is going to be an original 3-D Mario game; not to mention the new Mario Kart. It is unsure as well what other teams within Nintendo are working on also. To even further prove my point Retro Studios is working on a new WiiU game which could be Starfox Metroid Prime 4, Donkey Kong game, or even a new ip. Evidence suggests that it is Starfox since Nintendo commented on twitter "We are doing barrel rolls over Retro's new project".

And hell, a console Pokémon would not even make sense considering the game is called "Pocketmonsters".
