Hd DVD was the direct competition to blu rays. Blu ray won out. It wasn't like Xbox was the reason. Sony tried some product in the past that competed with the cassette tape but lost. This time Sony won out.

Reveal sucked from what I have heard, all i know is that you can watch tv on your GAME console.

Oh, and EA got mixed in there somehow.
