I really hope they improve upon some aspects of the game. For example the amount of time you can spend playing single player. Remember GT4? You could do beginner, pro, expert, endurance right? Then you could do all of the single make races. I haven't played this is forever but I know there were even more races than that. I liked the Karts and the Benz parts of GT5, but it seemed way too short in offline mode which I was on for the first year or two of playing. SO yeah, longer single player. AND.... More multiplayer. I know there is not much they can do here, but something like lap battle would be nice, you know something different than a straight up race. I would also like to be able to win prizes more than once
One thing that kind of ticked me off was how there were always a bunch of shitty cars and then like 1 or 2 actual cars to compete against in A-Spec races.
As a specific example, iirc, there was the 1970's or older supercar race where you're always trying to beat the Chaparral 2J because it practically laps every other car in the race, and it's almost impossible to get gold unless you sabotage it (assuming you're not driving one yourself).
