Actually former Rareware staff members have revealed that Microshit wouldn't let them explore their passion for developing games and Microshit would just make them do whatever they told them. On the good end of the rope though SCE owns great companies like Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch that succeed after every release since SCE give them the freedom.

well while it is popcorn and chances are he does mean the consoles/games, but company wise I've heard a lot of things that make me lose respect for microsoft
if it wasn't for the fact windows is best for some of the games i enjoy I'd prob happily give linux a try

nobody care about companies or whatever, they just want to play whatever game they like. 95% of games i play, i dont even know what company made it...it doesnt realy matter who did it, as long as i like it.

although sometimes that freedom can come at a cost, although it's still great (my example of cost is the guys who made journey went bankrupt and sony had let them take extra time needed to complete the game, although i still think it was a good thing to allow the time, but the result of it was just the bad thing)

Did you not just understand what you read? As a result Rare never released another AAA since they have been with Microshit. If gaming were as easy as the two steps you provided then Bubsy 3D would be the best selling game of all time.

yes i buy a console to play games, but the kinds of games I play are very specific and are normally Niche games and i usually pay attention to the companies
some examples for me are Capcom, any game they release chances are I will buy it used (although an exception would be if it became super cheap digitally) cause I dislike how they're done some things lately (MML3, the direction RE is starting to go, maybe more), BUT there is 1 series of theirs I will preferably buy new cause it's that good, Monster Hunter, cause I want to support that specific series over here

that the game company that made from what I've heard was a really good game went bankrupt from it
