LOL, who are you? I don't know if you play this game, but that charm, I'm betting, is worth more than your entire account

on topic, there may be no comparison of dex/str vs crit

but if i had a choice of 10 more dex or 10 more crit, is take the crit as my avg over 100 attacks would be greater by far

are u kidding me dave?
there is more relevance between beef jerky and spam than there is between dex/cs and int/mn

on topic
how can we be saying there is no relationship between dex and cs as it effects crits?
paul himself said that on a dagger that dexterity would affect damage shown and strength the % of crit,
with the % to crit being greater as the ratio became closer to the 90/10 as listed

unless str was the greater stat in which case str would be the damage shown modifier and dexterity would be the one affecting crit%

same with all weapons as a matter of fact as it applies to individual ratios
and inverse with axes

yes he said there are stats that increase your chance to crit. Never did he say crit increases your stats. I guess there would be a certain number of stats that would equate to the same crit% but adding the stats would be better. For instance lets say its 1:3 for daggers exactly so 9 str adds the same % to crit but str as little as it adds does increase dmg so would be better to have a 59str charm than 5ostr/3 crit because it will add dmg+critand give more overall. If someone can find the exact ratios per weapon type. But you cant say 1 crit is xx dex because that is wrong. Crit would not be relevant to dex on a dagger as crit% is figured by your lower end stat on your ratios. But there are so many factors to consider like does your crit modifier always stay constant snd increase at exact intervals? Or does it go up the higher you get your ratio.

For example at 90/1o on a mage using daggers does it have the same crit chance as say 180/2o or 27o/3o? If not crit will change the amount of stats its equvelant to and in turn be more rffective the higher you get your ratio. Which would mean you can't compare them then because the amount would change per weapon and depending on how high you can get your ratio.

Considering 10 dex or str is a max of 2 tiers of stats and 10 crit strike is 10 tiers of stats, yeah it would be wise to take the crit strike.

However, you wouldn't take 10 crit strike over 30+ something strength or dex, unless you had something else that could allow you to not worry about the stats of your str and dex.

Which is why secondary modifiers like crit strike are best when they are side mods to amplify damage.

And there was comparisons made and legit opinions posted, in reality, the first post in response to this thread answered the question, Cole answered his question precisely.

Weapon Ratios now define Critical Hits, not a single stat.

So, the question is this:

Does 1 CS = 0.10% chance or a full 1.00%

Remembering that Ratios Define a Critical Hit chance

if this is the case i would also think every 5 lvls, the cs chance will be lowered
