Yea I said the same but still better than no thing at all ^_^

The vita at that level would probably do the same as 100-150 life so it's atleast somewhat useful.

Well... at least the 20 vita helps with Physical Defense... yup, str or dex is great, but at that level, you are still one shot killing monsters (or close to it with other gear)
EDIT: did not think vita from items give hitpoints... just defense and +1 regen per 25 vita
