I read about this. Pattie Gonia had agreed to not place their name on clothing and all would be fine with the trademark usage. But, Pattie now sells merch with their name on it which breaks the contract that they had with Patagonia. Tiny side not: Pattie Gonia has a beautiful singing voice. Really good. But, breaking a promise/contract is not a very noble thing to do.
