Okay so here's the skinny of it. When I find a book I enjoy I honestly can't put it down. However, I struggle to find books like this.

Here's a list of books I couldn't put down:
The Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger
The Book Thief - Markus Zusak
The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini
Tuesday's With Morrie - Mitch Albom
The Five People You Meet In Heaven - Mitch Albom
The Road - Cormac Mcarthy
Harry Potter Series - JK Rowling
The Alchemist - Paulo Cohelo

I just recently got through The Life of Pi, which was okay but I didn't find it to be anything too great.

Anyhow I'm looking for a book I can really dive into and enjoy.
What's also strange is that I LOVE fantasy games, such as Diablo, WoW, and any other RPG you can think of (Played RPGs my whole life) but I have yet to find a fantasy book (aside from Harry Potter) that really grabs me.
Open to any and all suggestions!

Have you ever tried reading Eragon? If not, you should try it.

There's a series called The Ranger's Apprentice that I read a while ago, and am re-reading now. It's aimed for a younger audience, young teens, but still really good.

I really enjoyed All Quiet on the Western Front but like any older book, it can be boring at times.

Maybe look at Slaughterhouse Five? It's a weird book, but pretty interesting. Kinda sci-fi ish.

The Catcher in the Rye - JD Salinger
The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini

these 2 dispense presentation of course.

The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho

hate this guy, as all he writes is a bunch of senseless pathetic fantasies, not to mention that his writing skills are quite limited but that's me.

What kind of books are you into? I'm open to anything, please share whatever you've got.

I'll look into it after I try Eragon. Had a busy day today, I work as a teacher by night and work at a liquor store at night. Working from 8am-10pm really limits my reading time.
