I finished Dan Brown's Deception Point last week and I started Digital Fortress. I love adventure/suspense/mystery books. Can anyone recommend me similar authors/books? I don't really want to read Angels & Demons or The Da Vinci Code since I saw the movies and don't really want to read a book if I already know what it's about. I'd rather read something completely new to me.

You want something completely different, try Poe. Plenty of mystery and suspense and really good writing.

If all you've read lately is Dan Brown, I suggest broadening your selection.

you might like Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Ray Bradbury, & Nelson DeMille
