most people dislike 2 & 3 because they are pretty much setup for 4 and, the best imo, 5.

the rule of thumb I made is that if Duncan Idaho doesn't die, it isn't a real Dune book

The Ground Beneath Her Feet, by Salman Rushdie.
10/10 - It was actually a re-reading. One of the best books in my life.

Cats Cradle- Kurt Vonnegut

It's Kurt Vonnegut at his finest. Obviously it's a great book.
