I mean, I don't think it's gonna be shocking to anyone except maybe you, being as you are like the only one left in the world who hasn't read it yet.

But seriously, they cannot be entirely the same. Once you read it, you will understand why. But, you will also understand the references made by the movie.

If you don't read TDKR just because it might possibly spoil a part of Batman v Superman, I will hunt you down sir... lol

I'm not even close to starting the comics that I want to read.

I mean, I understand where you are coming from. I'm just saying I think you really will thank me when you take me advice on some of this stuff. Their is a reason Red Son, Preacher, and TDKR are all considered some of the greatest comics of ALL TIME. I'm trying not steer you wrong here.
