im sure it could lol look at computers today they advance fast and new models become obsoleat not long after there put out

Try Dies the Fire by SM Stirling. Not exactly ww3 but an interesting post-apoc tale. I just finished it the other day.
Also try The Penultimate Truth by Phillip K Dick.

If I recall correctly I think that's a post apacolyptic one, and apparently it's good (or so a friend of mine said when he recommended it for me)

Though it's pretty dark so don't read it if you can't stomache it ;p



So I think that fits the criteria? Anyway heard it was a good read so perhaps someone here will like it^^
