there's actually no reasons nowadays besides preference for humans to eat meat.

there are plenty of vegetarian/vegan athletes so its definitely not cause of 'superior protein'. meat production also creates infinitely more CO2 than any plant based food.

but having a rare steak once in a while like for a special occasion is fucking great

But it is true that being vegan has a lot of health benefits. It just may take a little more effort/ awareness- something that a lot of people don't care enough to give. But that's alright, i suppose, it's your body. o.O
And this argument doesn't even touch upon the obvious moral position on why vegan is better. lol.

The only argument i ever hear against veganism/ vegetarianism is "don't be a 'pussy'". Which is something i just lol at.

And which benefits are these? lol. There isn't anything that you cannot get from raw vegetables, fruits, grains, or even the new "fake meat" (which is basically fungi and provides a large amount of protein).
Also, our bodies have not really evolved to accept meat, you just force it down.

Morally speaking though, i'm not really against people eating animals that they kill, because they need to in order to survive. I'm against the abusive mass production and drugging and slaughtering of thousands of animals a day. So the "meat" that you buy from the grocery store is barely meat at all, after all the additives and drugs are added in. Just YouTube "slaughterhouses" or something and try to tell me that that's moral. Answer that question without trying to be tough, or being manly- just think like an individual.
Just read a book and you'll be surprised. :/

Animals don't have rights. And that's the reason I think vegans are idiots. It's not about healthy diets, it's about pushing some moral agenda.
Slaughterhouses are not immoral. Whether or not you approve of how animals are treated depends on how much you value the life of the animals.
The reason everyone thinks you vegans are such douche bags is precisely because you claim to be more moral based on some idiotic premiss that I accepted when I was 8 years old, but I realized how idiotic those ideas were a long time ago.

Yea.. i mean.. animals aren't sentient beings or anything that feel pain and happiness just as much as humans do.
Ignorant people acted the exact same way versus blacks for the longest time. Just by claiming that they don't have rights, by saying they aren't human does not justify the abuse and torture of them.
Our moral principles are always progressing and i believe that when the future looks back on this time in history, they will label us as savages for our immoral actions against other sentient beings. But that's just my prediction.
And what is the idiotic premise? That we should not harm sentient beings for reasons that can be avoided?
