I shoot RAW. I like being able to edit the pictures in detail. It's nice to have control over how your picture looks before and after it's taken.

i shoot raw for work and for myself.

well I am editing much pictures you can see them in my sig, everything was shot in JPEG

well I am editing much pictures you can see them in my sig, everything was shot in JPEG

I guess that's what seperates hobbyest from people more serious about it? I never put out unedited shots.

I do on occasion, for other people to try and edit or to show before and afters. Here is one sooc from recently that I like (save for the sharpening for web); while I think its "fine" sooc, I still edited some for contrast, shadows, etc. Every image can be improved upon, and if you think otherwise youre just deluding yourself (obviously thats not directed at you zomb xD)

Exactly. No picture is good enough for me straight out of the camera. Editing is half the fun for me. I love shooting, and then I get to have more fun when I get home. And for the people who call photoshop "Cheating", it's just a digital photographers darkroom.

Btw when I said no picture is good enough for me I meant my own, it's just my style. I editing specifically to look unique and keep my style. I'm told by a lot of local people they can tell a photo is mine even before seeing my watermark. I try to shoot and edit in a unique way.
