i dropped my camera once, it was in camerabag, but uv filter died that day, lucky camera is still fine
Back when I had my D5000 my bf dropped my zoom lens, cracked the hell out of the filter but the glass was fine. There isnt a moment where my lenses dont have filters on them
Ive dropped my camera a few times though, Ive had to replace my 50mm lens like 3 times, stupid plastic.

Absolutely not. Dont want to risk any sort of dust. It doesnt impact the photos at all.

i use UV filters for the same purpose to protecting my lens. but i take them out sometimes depending on the light settings which means flare and loss light compensation. not saying them filters are bad

I knowww! I honestly cant tell you how many times Ive had to delete about 100 random photos from my camera -__- I was planning on getting her a camera this Christmas, itll probably be digital though. God only knows what would show up if I took disposables to get developed..lol.

it does... but at the slightest and it depends what filter you have. even though it doesn't look like it, it does but doesn't make a difference if your not picky about it.
