Since there isn't a sub-forum for Minecraft, I decided to make this thread in which you can discuss anything Minecraft related here.

Well, if anyone wants to play I have a non-hamachi server that's 24/7 that I set up 5 days ago (15 slots). Doesn't have a lot of vanity plugins and is 100% legit SMP. The main town is currently protected and I'm handing out building zones to anyone that requests. Otherwise only a builders rank or up would have the power to change the city. Outside the city has no rules and nothing but TnT disabled.

I'm building a castle on my private server atm and I'll post a picture of it Tuesday after I get off work sometime. It's not finished yet, but it looks somewhat decent...

Also, if any jspers are interested, I have a Minecraft server running 24/7 that you're welcome to play on.
It's a map with lots of islands and hills that you can do whatever you want on it, as long as you follow these rules you're free to do anything you want:
RULES FOR MY SERVER:
-NO vandalizing, destroying or harming anybodies work that they have done, PERIOD, UNLESS they allow you too. (I save backup files of the world map, so you're just wasting your time if you do this)
-NO PVP. (unless it's ok with the people you're fighting with)
-NO flamming other people or starting fights.
-Have fun exploring and building whatever you want to!

So far there is a few people that play on my server from here and I would love to have more people from here playing on it, so just PM me if you want the IP if you're interested in playing with other jspers.

Minecraft Beta 1.5, and some thoughts on this blog

(You will need to update your servers as well)

* Weather (rain, snow, thunder)
* Statistics
* Achievements
* Detector rail
* Booster rail
* Performance improvements

More statistics and achievements will be added over time as we develop the game. They’re only stored locally at the moment, but we’ll slowly be rolling out online storing of achievements over time.

Also..

Ever since we got the office started, my inspiration for blogging here has slowly declined over time. I still enjoy doing it, but I never quite have the time or feel the need to do so. I wonder if that means this blog is dying? I hope not!
