Hello,
I would like to suggest updating (or adding) the default color presets on d2jsp to a more Diablo‑themed palette.
The current built‑in presets use generic web colors, which don’t really match the visual identity of Diablo II. Since a large part of the community uses d2jsp for D2 trading and guides, having presets that closely resemble the actual in‑game color tones would be a great improvement.
Below is a set of Diablo II item text colors paired with the closest matching names from the 140 official CSS color keywords. These CSS names were selected because they provide the best available approximation to the original D2 color codes while remaining fully compatible with standard web color naming:
• White (#FFFFFF) – Normal items
• DimGray (#696969) – Superior / Grey items
• Lime (#00FF00) – Set items
• RoyalBlue (#4169E1) – Magic items / Item Description
• Khaki (#F0E68C) – Rare items
• BurlyWood (#DEB887) – Unique items
• DarkOrange (#FF8C00) – Crafted items
• Tomato (#FF6347) – Server text
• Black (#000000) – Black
These CSS color names offer a Diablo‑accurate look while staying within the standardized set of 140 freely usable web color keywords. Adding them as presets would make profile customization, trading posts, and guides more visually consistent with the Diablo II aesthetic.
example:
Gheed's Fortune
Grand Charm
Required Level: 62
81% Extra Gold From Monsters
Reduces All Vendor Prices 14%
24% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items
This would be a small but meaningful quality‑of‑life improvement for many users.
Thanks for considering!
