Currently, there is no official “Price Checker” tag on the forum. I think introducing one could add value to the community.

There are members who consistently provide accurate and helpful price checks, and having a visible tag could make it easier to identify trusted contributors. It would also give newer members more confidence when relying on price estimates.

One possible approach would be to have moderators assign the tag to members who have demonstrated consistent knowledge and fairness over time. This would help maintain credibility and prevent misuse.

What do you think?

It could also help motivate more members to assist others by providing price checks. Recognition often encourages positive participation within a community. Of course, the badge would remain non-binding and could be removed after a (long) period of inactivity or if the standards are no longer met. This would help keep it fair and maintain its credibility.

No.

Not because I think this is necessarily a bad idea

Just that:

A) it would create a world of drama.
b)people would start posting in S.A with things like “Jsp@pc said my item was worth 50fg and I sold but then found out they are selling for 51fg they scammed me 1fg”
C) there could be cases where actual low pc’s are given in hopes of getting items for less and which arguably would be an actual scam.

True, good points. I didn't think about that.
