My only thought on why this hasn't been added yet is that this could "potentially" cause some kind of harm from those who are posting about their DIY projects but maybe not done in a perfectly professional way, and someone sees what they are doing and tries to recreate it and ends up hurting themselves or something in result of that.
Other than that, it makes no sense why sub-forums in GC can be easily taken away but so far no new ones added. Especially when they can/have quickly added new sub-forums for new games.
