Voted no, what we have now works fine.

Agreed, I'd vote no

I feel that having one automated fg raffle is enough for the forums.

Essentially what I think you are suggesting is what the site currently offers except you are asking for the jackpot & ticket prices to be higher.

The hourly raffle's jackpot is not hit every hour, rather 1-3 weeks at a time usually I would imagine. This would most likely be the same case with a daily raffle, where it would take multiple days or weeks for someone to actually get the correct sequence of numbers correct.

Most of the funds for the jackpot if not all of them come from the purchasing of tickets I believe, so starting at 100k for daily raffle doesn't seem possible. I don't see 100k worth of tickets purchased in a day for a lottery.

No ones gonna take that away from you that raffle would still exist lol. Id like to hear some good arguments instead of "I prefer the current system so i say no, even tho there wouldnt be any changes to what i prefer"

You dont see people spending hundreds or thousands of fg for the possibility to win 100k+? Be serious man...

I was being serious when I responded. You want a daily raffle, but it isn't going to hit daily. It would be exactly like the hourly raffle, but with higher paying jackpots and more expensive tickets.

Thats the whole point? Its not supposed to hit daily, it could take weeks/months before someone hits the jackpot. The first jackpot (50k or 100k) gets contributed by d2jsp. After that every bought ticket contributes (for example) 25% to the jackpot, 25% to the next jackpot until the minimum is reached, and 50% gets burned. When the next minimum is reached the percentages can change to whatever is more plausible. Theres no need that 100k in tickets get bought in a single day. Even tho i think it wouldnt take too long. Once someone hits the first jackpot, even more people will play. Its win/win for the site and users. No one gets forced to play it so i dont really get what speaks against it
