I really just want to lose 30-40 pounds in about 2 months. I'm limited on daily time to make it to the gym, I could however do a 45-1hr routine at home if someone could enlighten me on a decent exercise routine to slim up fast. And naturally i'm curious about meal planning for needed to cut this much wait.

I don't advise cutting that much weight in that little time.

Cutting 40 lbs in a month and a half for me in college was a very grueling and unenjoyable feat.

If you have 45-1hr, like I do currently, your best bet is to do some cardio (2-3 miles) and then implement endurance lifting. I would really focus on lower weights/higher reps.

As for diet, can you give me a run-down of everything that you eat during the week? How many calories/week?

What is your height/weight? And what is your intended MMA/fitness goal?

Hey bro I know this is not my thread but I have experienced awesome weight loss results through a combination of Sport and home exercise but most importantly GOOD DIET.

I was at my heaviest 220 lb, now I am down to competing at 155 lb.

First of all stop eating anything processed. Here are some easy meals you can make that are healthy and you can eat for a few days:

Stir fry: Chicken, any veggies you like (I use broccoli, cauliflower, corn, carrots, onions, peppers, mushrooms, bean sprouts, sweet peas and whatever other vegetable I have), then cook rice (real rice not minute rice).
Pasta Sauce: I make an entire batch and freeze about 6 pasta boxes worth that's about 30 meals. Start with onions and peppers, fry the meat, add chopped tomatoes and mushrooms if you want then add canned tomato sauce, crushed tomato, or chopped tomato.
For breakfast I always scramble 2 eggs and I drink chamomile tea.
For lunch I eat wraps or sandwiches with cured meat from a local farmer, lettuce, small amount of cheese (I avoid dairy as much as possible do not drink milk its quite fatty).
I also make my own granola bars I can give you the recipe if you desire.
I also make my own salsa and eat only organic nachos.

Now the exercise I do at home:
I have an exercise mat and I do the following in this order:
Pushups, situps, leg raises, v sits, then i spell the alphabet with the top of my feet while my legs are stretched out, then I do planks and floor L-sits, then I take my 10 lb dumbbells (yes its light but its not to get juiced) and do a circuit of hammer curls, standing presses, flyes, shrugs. Then I do another set of pushups and sit ups. Do all of this without stopping, if you have energy repeat.

This has been a huge help, you may not believe me but trust me it works, my friend has also had awesome results following in my footsteps. I also train Judo 4-6 times a week and last summer I played rugby. All of this has attributed to my weight loss and maintaining my weight.

Final word: DO NOT EAT PROCESSED SHIT. don't buy it at the store, don't buy fast food, don't eat chips don't eat super sweet chocolate (I eat organic 70% cocoa chocolate), do not drink any fucking pop or juice. All of that is chemical shit that may taste good for the time you are drinking it but it is poison. Let me know if you have any questions.

E/ if you can not change your diet then you can not expect to see results. This is not a small change you want to make. 40 pounds is a big amount to lose and it requires some fucking mental fortitude and that means not eating shit and not being lazy. sorry if that doesn't work for you. Too many fucking people think they can do diets and other fucking bullshit. No you need to fucking exercise and eat like a human was meant to eat.

6' 206 lbs looking to tone/beef up. Is it possible for the best of both worlds? I cook with around a tablespoon of butter per 1lb of chicken breasts, pork chops, but the ground beef is 70/30. I eat my veggies but crave healthier alternatives over sugar packed junk food. I have at least 300 lbs of free weights and bench/dumbells/curling bar. Looking to scare myself with sexy... Not a troll post either......

It depends, but if you want to do both, you're best off beefing up first and then doing a good solid cut. I've done it before.

From a healthy perspective, stay away from sugars in packaged foods, etc. Stick with natural sugars.

Increase protein and lift heavy. Preferably max 6 reps per set and consume about 1.5g/lb of body weight each day and divide it throughout the day evenly.

For 6 foot, how monstrous do you want to be? You can go up to 250, and then solid cut to 220. I wouldn't recommend gaining a whole lot at once, when it comes to gains or cuts, slow and steady wins the race.

78kg 186cm , bf 14% age 21

Worked out for 6 months and seen gg results, I was like 65kg almost a year ago. I'm quite knowledgeable about building up my body now, but I want to learn martial arts in conjunction with gymming. What type of martial arts would you recommend for someone that wants to learn how to defend themselves and knock ppl out if necessary

Figure I'll throw this in here, from my personal experience for same-day weigh-ins I tried the hot bath/blankets + epsom salts method.

25 minutes i lost 3 lbs, I'm not one to handle heat real good so I don't know if the water was hot enough, It definitely was for me though... after the second round of 10 minute hot bath I almost feinted, and sat under blankets where I felt i did the most sweating.

I seen testimonials of 10+ lbs in 30-45 minutes I don't see how that is possible personally, But if you're tired of skipping and jogging...

You can even spit in the bath while youre in it! extra little bonus I guess, and was a less physical way for me to cut the extra few LBS before a weigh in

What sort of gym do you have nearby?

I think boxing/karate is a good start to learn fundamentals, but later I would encourage things like Muay Thai and Krav Maga if you really want to learn self-defense in life/death situations.

That, my friend is what you call 'extreme cutting' and epsom salts should be used...sparingly let's say. Cutting so much weight that quickly is not good for your body because you are basically in shock the whole time. I know lots of fighters do it, but in the long-term, it isn't a healthy option.

Saunas were always good after a good workout. The best form of cutting is the slow/progressive way because that is where the results can stick because you are also forming a lifestyle around that.

*my testimony over the last 8 years cutting weight really fast - proved to gaining a lot more even quicker.

Now that I'm back down to about 163-165, at a very slow pace, I find that I have more energy with workouts - especially high intensity cardio and I don't feel drained or unhealthy either.
