Hell I'd smack the kid (like a normal parent should do), bring them to their senses of who they are dealing with and ground them. If that doesn't work, there is always the belt.

When I was living with my parents. That thought wouldn't even cross my mind to throw something at my mother no matter how enraged I was. For one my father(xSeal in the gulf) would beat me senseless with what I had left at that point. Two my mother brought me into this world she can damn well take me away from it.

Looks like I'm a little late to the party. All I can say is thats a little fucked up.

I'm not saying that it should be a constant smack or belt, just if someone gets this out of control to actually hit their own parents (with a taco). Of course I would get along with my kids (unless I had a daughter....Oh god I hope I don't get one) and just do some easy grounding.
