Would be fun to compare our progress on 12, I'm not far, just about to head to Bhujerba (spelling?). I'm on the final boss of IV but he's more difficult than I thought so I should be fully committed to 12 in a couple days. Regardless if it's shitty or not I can't wait for 13-3; 13-2 had such a cliffhanger ending.

Was there an additional ending in the DLC?

The only one I saw had Serah dying, and Nole realizing he'd killed the goddess....

You can YouTube the "real" ending, unlocking it involved getting all 160 fragments, the real pain in the ass being the Monster Hunting quest. All the DLC does is add the "monsters" to the Colloseum, which you can then defeat and hope to get their crystal. Never heard of The Last of Us, I'll have to check it out.

Yeah it's one great big clusterfuck, I try to take it with a grain of salt. Evidently I was wrong about DLC just involving monster capturing, I guess there's a storyline DLC that sort of elaborates more on the secret ending (I'm not gonna give any more money to that game). You might try to find conspiracy theory forums on the whole ending, I remember trying to read explanations and just getting a headache. All I know is Sera took over Yeul's position as the seer and whatever it was that she saw was so grim that it had killed her. I'm also calling Caius on a bluff that "the goddess is dead," because Etro was supposedly vanquished a long time ago and Lightning clearly isn't dead. Who knows.

Haha...playing the guessing game for rpg's is my favorite part of playing them....also turn based combat is pretty bawss. I'll probably pick up a copy of 13-3 when it's 20 bucks (2 months after release) and give it a spin. I'm tearing apart my HTPC today so I can make a few upgrades to run my ps2 emulator at 60fps because I'm going to get back into 12....

Xenoblade for wii

Fucking epic.

What FPS do you get right now with the PS2 emulator? I have a pretty mediocre ASUS laptop that can run it just fine at 60FPS, a few odd scenarios like equipping accessories or entering large cities that bring it down to ~40FPS but other than that it runs perfectly. After literally 100 attempts at the FF IV boss I beat him before I left the house today so I'll be watching the ending right now and then start finding time for 12.



I've played 60% of the Last Hope so I know that's good but what's Xenoblade like? I've heard it can't really be compared to the almighty Xenogears.
