When ppl are out of reasonable facts, they start putting shitloads of smiley faces. I see that's the also case with u. Nobody denied the fact Barca and Real are probably 2 best teams in the world atm. But that's where all of Spanish European might lies. And u just proved it urself. Where EPL provided at least 4 clubs to challenge for CL, Spain only had 2. And u try to hide this simple fact by making second-rated competition EL look like it can be compared to CL. EL was never a focus of best 5-6 EPL clubs,they even see competing there as a failure, whereas all Spanish clubs except the big 2 can only hope to achieve something in Europe by playing in EL, cuz CL is simply too big for them. Yet u try to make this look like it's a positive thing in 2 leagues' comparrison. According to ur logics: even Portugese league is better than EPL then. Cuz they have 3 European trophies in recent years.
It's been over a decade when La Liga and Seria A lost their positions to EPL as the leading league in the world. And they still haven't regained it. So haters like u can enjoy a one bad season for EPL, but the reality is still the same. In terms of CL ( best club competition in the world) it's even irreleavant who'll come 3rd or 4th in La Liga, cuz no other team outside Real and Barca can hope to do anything good there. While EPL is going to bounce back and keep sending 4 teams that going to be a major force in this competition. Too bad England has only 4 spots, cuz with the way things are atm, they could put 5 or even 6 top clubs there. And that's the simple and main reason why no other team besides the big 2 in La Liga can hold on to their best players, if EPL clubs show interest. Just deal with it.

Your argument is simple: England sent MORE clubs to Champions League - that's correct BUT still only 2 have won it! Not more than Spanish clubs! So you have more losers but less titles, great argument!

No, my argument was that EPL has more quality teams, and it clearly reflects in CL performances. Everybody can see that. Yet u still draw conclusions from one season. Was this year's performance bad? No doubt. Was it regular occurance? Hell no. And it's funny how u call a team that's played in CL final losers.
What can La Liga offer besides Real and Barca? Valencia, Atletico? Please, so why their best players leave to EPL then?
