What proof are u looking for? As I already mentioned before, for past 7 or so years no other league produced so many quarter, semi and finalists as EPL did. Drawing conclusions from 1 catastrophic season (which is exception, not the rule) simply doesn't make any sense. English big boys will bounce back- they always do. Hell, just a couple of years ago there were 3 English clubs in the semis. Don't forget, that the likes of City and Spurs are also emerging as top clubs, while I honestly can't remember when was the last time when any Spanish club besides Barca-Real had any kind of impact on this competition.

And you don't think Bilbao and Valencia are emerging better than those u stated above?

No and they'll be put back into their place soon enough.

Come on. U can't even compare Valencia or Bilbao to Spurs atm. Yet alone to current Man City. As I said, season like that in Europe for EPL clubs is just an anomaly.
If u remember, not that long ago Lyon KO'd Real two or even three years in a row. Yet it would have been madness to claim that they were on the same level.

A quick reminder: Spuds kicked out of EL by Saloniki and Kazan, Womanchester Shitty by Sporting (currently 5th in Portugal)!

Just a quick summary for cup fanatics:
Over the last 7 years there have been 7 English teams' appearance in the CL final.
Over the last 7 years there has only been one CL final without an English club.
Over the last 7 years 4 different EPL teams appeared in the CL final.
4 years ago Premiership had 3!!! clubs in the semis and an all English final, which in turn was only third in CL history that featured both teams from the same country.
Yet ppl manage to draw conclusions about so called "decline" of the EPL just from 1 off season, which was clearly an unpleasant exception. There even are doubters, that strenght of EPL was just a myth.
I mean if u can find any league that could do better, please, by all means share it with everybody.

Just a quick summary for cup winner fanatics:

Over the last 10 years Spanish clubs have won 4 CL titles and 4 EL titles. English clubs have won 2 CL titles and 0 EL titles. That's 8-2 in titles!!!

Just proving my point, that Spain is all about Barca and Real.
And it's clear that only Barca and Real in La Liga are the teams, that are in the same elite category with 5 or even 6 EPL clubs.
Besides, nobody gives a fuck about EL. Even rands like Fulham made it to the final. U count it as achievement, while atm there are at least 5 EPL teams, that call competing in EL a European season failure, regardless of results.
edit:
Harry also clearly showed how much EL meant to him compared to EPL when he put 9 subs in Spurs starting 11 in a decisisve game against Greeks.

Excuses, denial, ignorance - you're so mad that La Liga >> Premier League!
You've already lost this argument! 8-2 in titles (5 Spanish teams, 2 English teams - so much for only 2 team league)!!!

And although you don't like it - they do give a fuck about EL - or they wouldn't risk their best players (Rooney, Young, Evra, Silva, Aguero, Nasri) to get injured! Well, didn't help, did it?
La Liga >> Premier League

No matter how you choose to look at it, the facts are on my side. But hey, thanks for playing!
