How can anyone reach the pinnacle of success while in association with Jackson? That's like signing Ray Rice: a talentless nobody with the upside of being average-at-best, and the downside of being a piece of living garbage.

Ray Rice was/is a good person aside from one night of regrettable anger. His actions after the DV incident that ruined his career have shown how contrite he truly is. He's done a lot of volunteer work besides just donating money. Not saying what he did was justified in any way, but if all of us were to be judged by our worst actions in life, then we'd all look like shitty people.

And the talentless narrative came on the heels of a season in which he was playing through a hip-flexor injury while running behind the one of the worst OLs in Ravens history. He looked fine in preseason the following year, but we never got to see him play in a real game afterwards. Ray Rice could definitely have improved any team's RB corps afterwards, but he was blackballed at that point for divulging private text messages between Bisciotti and himself.

Who was it that said they'd leave the heisman if jackson ever joined 🤔
