Seems like most people just see 222 rushing yards and nothing else. Truth is, the Pats had 1 great offensive play (a 64 yard run) and were bottom-tier the rest of the game (3.9 yards per carry).
The Patriots had 8 actual drives:
-4 were 3&out.
-1 got just one first down
-2 were sustained drives that led to field goals.
-1 was a long TD run.
The Pats had 241 total yards of offense and scored 14 points. (The Texans are the worst team in the league this year in those categories, averaging 255 yards and 13.7 points per game.)
The following exclude the kneeldowns at the end:
-Of the Pats 44 running plays, 19 went for fewer than 3 yards (43%).
-In the 4th quarter when it was time to burn clock, they couldn't run the ball at all: They called 6 running plays and and netted -2 yards.
P successful considering they had the box LOADED LOADED
