You're not homering, you're just delusional. :(

Peyton isn't even top 3 right now.

Eli might be top 5 but he's not 2nd...

No man I'm really not delusional or homering.

Maybe you have to watch Eli play every game to realize it since the numbers don't back up his brilliant play, I don't know. Sure he makes a few mistakes/bad throws, every QB does.
There's no QB better during the pre snap other than probably Peyton.

I don't know what else Eli has to do to prove that he's an equal amongst those guys.

Peyton after the first game everyone had him #1 again lol. You can't rank anyone right now after only 2 games. It's impossible to do.

Right now I'd rank them like this

1a. Peyton
1b. Rodgers
1c. Eli
1.d Brady
2. Brees

People always give credit to Peyton for being so brilliant and making no name receivers into stars. Look at what Eli did with Ramses Barden last game. That's an example of what I'm referring to.

Hes not hitting the other guys with the accuracy he had even in the preseason. He has always spread the ball out well, partly because he put the ball in a tight window making it easy for the receiver to catch, he has not been doing this in the regular season as well at all. It's not like Cj got us every first down or anything, and he has been doubled like that last year, first 4 games 2 td's each, you know teams were trying to stop him but staffords accuracy really helped, now not so much, due to his lack of accuracy.

His accuracy and decision making were definitely an issue the 1st two games but I wouldn't worry too much. He's a good young QB, I just don't understand how everyone not named Calvin Johnson isn't wide open or beating their man. Calvin is literally being triple teamed regularly.

I just think Stafford is trying to rely on Calvin's greatness and forcing passes that he shouldn't simply because he's made those plays countless times regardless if he's not open. It's a maturation process.

If he looks for other receivers more often he'll see open targets. Just have to trust them.

I do watch him...

You can't put Peyton at #1 right NOW. That's stupid, he looked good in his 1st game but he's not #1 yet. Especially after that performance.

Rodgers
Brady
Brees
Peyton
Romo
Eli

You can't judge him off one bad game though which is my point. He's been #1 forever and the only question coming into the season was his health. How his neck would hold up.

What listing is that?

We're talking, right now, as far as talent, performance, potential and execution.

Hence why Peyton can't be #1.

I don't get it though.

So this is a listing for this season thus far?

Rodgers
Brady
Brees
Peyton
Romo
Eli

How could you possible have Brees ahead of Eli or Romo? really Rodgers can't even be 1st if we're ranking based off 2 games, nor Brady.

I just think we should stop trying to rank them right now because we're running into way too many arguments and factors. One off-game is going to offset everything, it's pretty silly lol

I was just making an observation about Eli

When did I call you a troll? Or anyone in here that wasn't an obvious troll?

Eli has made HUGE strides. With Eli it's not always about numbers as you should know with this offense.

Right now Eli is probably the second best QB in the league behind Rodgers.

Are you kidding me.... Theres 4 qbs id take over Eli and its not even close.

And that's exactly why he's still underrated. It ABSOLUTELY is close. very close.

What's so great about Brees that you would take him over Eli?

Rodgers
Peyton
Brady

Are all obvious debates.

Rodgers is the most talented QB in the league. He's young, has all the tools. Other than him there's no one I'd rather have and only because of age would I take him over Eli. If I needed one game, Eli all the way. He's proven everything. He's proven all his doubters wrong.

What does Brady do better than Eli at this point?

Like I said before:

Quote
Eli has always had the talent to be the best QB in the NFL. He has the entire package.

The question has been his decision making and inconsistency.

He doesn't have the strongest arm but he's up there with the best of them. He has the best deep ball accuracy in the league.
He doesn't have the #1 accuracy in league but he's up there with the best of them.
He doesn't have the mobility of a Vick, yet he eludes sacks and feels pressure with the best of them. He's a pocket QB that can escape pressure when needed.
His footwork is impeccable.
He's maybe only second to Peyton in pre snap checks & audibles. It's close.

There is no better road QB.
There is no better QB in the clutch.
There is no better QB in the 4th Q.
