having emergency appendicitis surgery. he thought he had the flu, explains why he's been a bit slower this year so far.

i wouldn't be sold on the 3-4 weeks though, Patches always comes back from injuries quicker than humanly possible. he has regenerative healing powers.

for my appendicitis, I was only in a hospital for 6 days and I was fine afterwards if I recall correctly. This was over a decade ago and I was 6 years old lol. He shouldn't be gone for 3-4 weeks
